You do not need a degree in anatomy and physiology to be a calm and confident yoga teacher. When you’re in command of some basic elements of anatomy and cultivate yogic awareness, you can cue and sequence poses that are safe and effective.

Dr. Janet Parachin, PhD

Senior Instructor

Janet Parachin is a certified Yoga therapist, Ayurveda Wellness Consultant and Reiki Master Teacher who has completed over 2000 hours of training in yoga anatomy, restorative and therapeutic yoga, Reiki and Ayurveda. She is the founder and Director of Yoga Spirit Academy yoga teacher training program in Tulsa, OK, USA since 2007.

She and her partner Victor Parachin founded Tulsa Yoga Meditation Center in 2010.

    Yes, we believe you will. Janet will provide specific guidance in all the areas of yoga teaching that would benefit from an anatomical perspective. This is information you’ll be able to use right away in your group yoga classes, private sessions and even as you develop your own personal practice of yoga.

  • How much computer knowledge do I need to do this course?

    Not much! This learning platform is very user friendly. You can access this course on your computer, tablet or smart phone. If you run into a problem, contact us by email and we’ll work with you to resolve it.

  • Can I get a refund?
